The price of natural gas has fallen almost by 75%. This happened as a result of the unexpected increase in supply together with recession. Moreover huge reserves of Natural gas have been discovered by the technology in this decade. The companies are still charging the same price which was up last summer, hence the effect of the huge drop is not yet realized at the households. The country has a gas storage of 1.67 trillion cubic ft which is 35 percent more than what it was last year, says Energy Information Association. All together this has resulted in the fall of gas price even more rapidly than the price of oil.
A man who had lost his bony structures which included his nose, tissues and palate underwent a face transplant operation which is the second done in the US. It was a 17 hour procedure which was done by a team of plastic surgeons. The injuries cannot be categorized as life threatening but their job was of life giving nature. After the donor was identified and the characteristics such as age, skin color and tissue were matched the operations were carried on in two operating theatres one of the donor and the other of the patient. The two major concerns now are infection and the risk of blood clotting.
A Natural disaster or a Debt disaster- Whatever it may be, the most badly affected are the poor countries. Natural disasters like tsunami, earthquake, hurricanes and floods happen often and the destructions and damage are very severe. The poor countries are unable to manage the loss as they have minimum resources. But the media which take more interest on the happening of the developed country does not disclose much of the disasters of a poor country.
